Bucket Ruffle Redux (by the Mystery Guest Blogger)
Shops all over Hûe sell helmets for everyone. Though he didn’t buy it, our friend Robert found one he liked.
In the last blog posting about high-fashion in Hûe, Tuan requested a pic of Virtual Doug in a bucket
ruffle. Since I don’t know anybody who has one, I had to buy one. 40,000 VND I’m assured by my friends I got a good price. I do know where to shop in Hûe.
At the helmet shop I discovered that the young lady at the end of the last story is NOT sporting an enclosed ruffle, but a helmet constructed with a ruffle and covering self contained, black rubber chin strap and all. Pretty clever, no?
And now I have also discovered Doug looks pretty good in a bucket ruffle, don’t you think?
Omg, yes ....
He sure looks good in that. Thank you the Mystery Guest Blogger, you are the best. I am going to start a petition for you to be the main blogger and Doug will be your sidekick. Who with me?
Btw, without the beard, Doug will look like English lady from last century. :)

@the other Tuan:
Tuan is a popular Vietnamese name, same as Smith, John etc...
Now if we are coming from the same town, that will be interesting.

As I said, I know it hard to figure out which Tuan's comments :). So I've decided to change to Tuan_son as my default name on this blog.
